Natural Gemstones

Natural gemstones are minerals that have formed in nature without human intervention. They are valued for their beauty, rarity, and the unique characteristics they possess.

These natural gemstones are precious or semi-precious, equally formed through natural processes. Common types include diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.

Natural Gemstones compared to Lab-Grown?

  • Natural gemstones, unlike lab-grown, not only serve as beautiful adornments but can also be seen as investments, as their value may appreciate over time.
  • Natural gemstones possess a rarity given their finite nature, unlike lab stones which are in infinite supply.
  • Each natural gemstone has its own unique characteristics formed by the earth, unlike lab-grown which are without any unique qualities.

Precious Metals

Gold

Gold provides a balance of beauty and durability.

14 and 18 karat gold is more durable than 22k or 24k gold due to the alloying metals, making it less prone to scratches, wear, and losing its original shape - this makes it a favourite choice amongst our master goldsmiths.

It is preferable for pieces designed for daily wear, such as rings and bracelets, necklaces and of course, earrings. 18k gold maintains its rich hue without being prone to dulling and losing its luster.

Colour Variations:

Yellow Gold: Alloyed with silver and copper.

Rose Gold: Contains more copper, giving it a pinkish hue.

White Gold: Alloyed with palladium or with rhodium for a silver shiny finish.

To the benefit of those with sensitive skin-types, our gold pieces are hypoallergenic, reducing the risk of skin irritation.
